Do you know why there is a demand for uncirculated notes?
It is because collectors have become aware of the following law
with the Central Bank in Iraq. Whether the concern is
warranted or not is subject to speculation. The Central Bank Of Iraq states that:
"The CBI may confiscate without compensation any banknotes that have been written on, painted on, overprinted, stamped or perforated, or to which adhesive matter has been applied."
Even if the concern is warranted, none of our
circulated notes would meet the above criteria.
The circulated notes we keep in stock are undamaged. We do not buy damaged notes and return them if
they are received by sellers. If you prefer uncirculated notes
we do specialize in those but the circulated notes are a nice alternative to
allow you to purchase at closer to the actual exchange rate. |
